Late night Christmas shopping in Uckfield was Friday 1st December 2017. Every year at late night Christmas shopping, Uckfield is always buzzing with activity with a festive atmosphere. This year was no exception!

Cards for Good Causes
Cards for Good Causes – Charity Christmas cards – thankfully now have a permanent home in Bridge Cottage.
Run by volunteers, the charity has over 300 outlets altogether, nationwide. In the South East area they have shops in towns such as Wadhurst, Crowborough, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Eastbourne, and Tunbridge Wells, to name a few. They are a non-profit making organisation and 70% of all purchases goes to charity with the remaining 30% going to running costs.
Apart from the usual Christmas cards, other items for sale include calendars (inc advent calendars), gift wrap, note pads, candles and tea towels, as well as other gifts.
Meat and Poultry
Bishops Butchers at the top of Uckfield always have a wide rang of excellent quality meat, poultry and a selection of vegetables. Whole turkeys, turkey crowns, duck and other meat can be ordered in advance.
