Planning a low-budget wedding, or simply don’t want to spend a fortune on your wedding and bridesmaids dresses? Did you know that Cancer Research UK in Uckfield have a fabulous bridal department, upstairs?
They have wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses as well as evening gowns, ball gowns and prom gowns. There is also a wide range of accessories including veils, tiaras, shoes, fascinators and gifts. All the items have been donated from various sources and about a quarter of the stock is brand new or end line.
Grab some bargains!
Wedding dresses are priced from £75 to £350, a fraction of the cost of a new wedding dress. Dresses are in various sizes, depending on the brand and can be altered to fit by a local seamstress.
Shop Manager Julie said that they receive donated wedding items on a regular basis.
Anyone wishing to view the collection will need to make an appointment by either popping into the shop or give them a call on 01825 768375. Appointments are carried out one at a time.
Local wedding suppliers are welcome to leave their business cards and are asked to give a donation to Cancer Research UK in return for any business gained.
